Yesterdays Friends, Todays Enemies
Secretary of Defence Donald Rumsfeld met former-Iraqi President Saddam Hussien many years ago during Iraqi's war with Iran.That was a different time when Iraq was considered an essential buffer against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Two decades later, Saddam Hussein should have seen the writing on the wall when Rumsfeld was made Secretary of Defence.
